Diversity and inclusion

A fair, inclusive working environment

In accordance with the code of ethics and the sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda, our integrated policy sets out the framework principles on human rights and guides all our actions with regard to the protection and empowerment of employees and the community. This commitment is reflected in a structured pathway within which we have examined how we can best ensure a fair, inclusive working environment.

Climate survey

In order to understand and improve the working environment, we launched our second corporate climate survey, a listening tool that enabled us to measure well-being within the organisation. Starting this year, it has also been useful for detecting and preventing workplace violence and harassment. The findings of the 2024 climate survey will be used to decide corrective and preventive actions from 2026.

Advisory Committee and DE&I Committee

We have created the advisory committee to promote an inclusive working environment. This committee has been expanded from 2 to 4 members of the company’s Senior Management, with equal numbers of men and women. A specific committee has been established to deal with DE&I issues, to help to nurture a more inclusive culture within the organisation.

Gender equality

We have obtained ISO 30415:2021 certification and Italian gender equality certification under Presidential Decree 125:2022. Awareness of the importance of language is a fundamental part of our progress towards greater inclusion. We have reviewed our personnel selection and recruitment processes to integrate the principles of prevention of discrimination. Further to this review, job descriptions are now drafted in neutral language and questions regarding marriage, pregnancy or caring responsibilities are no longer permitted during interviews. In 2024 we issued our Strategic Plan for gender equality, with a three-year horizon, which sets clear, measurable targets in this area.

Occupational health and safety

Occupational health and safety is the area on which the largest investments in training are made. We work to maintain ISO 45001 certification for the catering and facility services divisions.
