Environmental sustainability policies

Every day, in our kitchens, water flows, energy powers the cooking appliances and raw materials are transformed into thousands of meals. Each of these actions leaves a footprint on the planet, and this is also intrinsic in the food itself, which risks becoming waste if not eaten.

We therefore work in schools to raise children’s awareness of the value of food and the need not to waste it. Sustainability is a principle that permeates our identity, which starts from a tangible, vital daily action and is repeated in the services we offer. We are aware that every action leaves a footprint. Our first responsibility is to identify and measure this footprint and take action to reduce it, with the same care and attention that we dedicate to people. We believe that the fight against climate change starts from knowledge and a simple principle: “You can’t improve what you don’t measure”. Therefore, we have conducted a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) on the entire organisation to map our impacts and build a solid decarbonisation plan. This approach guides our actions: from investments in energy efficiency and the transition to renewable power to the protection of water as a primary good and the effort to promote a circular economy that transforms waste into a new resource. For a business like ours, the heart of this commitment lies in the fight against food waste, which we view as not only an environmental responsibility but also an educational duty. Every meal saved and every person given awareness represents the success of our vision: to build a fairer, more sustainable food system for everyone, one action at a time.
