Water is a primary good and must be conserved with the greatest care and responsibility. We want to evolve towards intelligent management, because every drop saved helps to protect a precious, finite resource. Our approach is based on three pillars: accurate measurement of consumption as the basis for all improvements; strategic partnerships to share best practices; and the continual innovation of our processes to reduce impact at source.

Water is a precious, finite resource. With this in mind, some time ago we adopted a dry cleaning system that replaces water in the sanitisation of the production facilities. By so doing, we have significantly reduced consumption. To enable structural action throughout the organisation, in July 2024 we launched a project to activate a system for the precise mapping of water use, which will provide the basis for defining targets for its gradual reduction. Stakeholder relations are also fundamental in this process. We have joined the “Pledge sull’acqua” [“Water Pledge”] in association with Impronta Etica, to encourage more sustainable use of water resources. This project aims to create a network of companies working to improve water management. During 2024, the dialogue amongst the member companies enabled us to draw up a structured action plan.

We have chosen Ecolabel Certification for cleaning services, a move that guarantees the use of low-impact methods and products and can reduce water consumption by up to 30%.
