As the concept of sustainability within Camst has evolved in recent years, it has become necessary to adapt the organisation’s structure to respond more effectively to the latest environmental and social challenges by integrating sustainability as a central factor in company decisions and fostering an internal culture focused on social accountability and innovation.
Sustainable governance is crucial for guaranteeing that organisations operate in a responsible manner, reducing their environmental and social impact and contributing to the long-term well-being of people and the planet. In line with this commitment, in 2022 the Board of Directors appointed a Sustainability Manager, a member of the newly elected Board, to manage sustainability strategies and projects, confirming the importance the company assigns to this area, also considering its acquisition of Benefit Cooperative Corporation status.
