The Trade School
Launched at the end of 2020 and fully operational since 2021, the Trade School is a new training plan which aims to improve the technical and managerial skills of catering area staff.
Camst has always chosen to place people at the centre of its strategies and has dedicated a great deal of energy to continuous learning. This objective inspired the creation in 2019 of the Academy, a learning organisation established to oversee the cooperative’s key knowhow and encourage people to exchange information, promoting learning and the development of a better-informed workforce. The Academy’s projects include the Trade School, an in-house strategic training plan launched at the end of 2020 which aims to improve the technical and managerial skills of catering area staff. The school is founded on 5 pillars: consolidate and standardise the training process; provide employees with free access to structured growth paths, geared towards enhancing internal skills; foster engagement and the development of talents motivated to make a difference, via the enhancement of knowledge; share the cooperative’s culture, style and good practices; support employability. The project is run by a team of professionals with lengthy experience in training and in the cooperative’s sectors of business, working in synergy with educational experts, with the aim of providing everyone – and not only users with the best digital skills – with easy access to knowledge. The training project was launched in June 2021 with a trial phase to consolidate its structure, contents and methods, after which it was extended across the geographical areas and company population concerned.
