The evolution of the concept of sustainability at Camst over the past few years has required an adjustment of the organizational structure to respond more effectively to emerging environmental and social challenges, integrating sustainability as a core value in business decisions and promoting an internal culture oriented toward social responsibility and innovation.

Sustainable governance is crucial to ensuring that organizations operate responsibly, reducing environmental and social impacts and contributing to the long-term well-being of people and the planet. In line with this commitment, in 2022, the authority to manage sustainability strategies and initiatives was entrusted by the Board of Directors to the Chief Sustainability Officer, who joined the newly elected Board, thus confirming the importance the company attaches to this area, also in light of its transition to a cooperative benefit society.
