Together Against Gender-Based Violence: Camst Group and D.i.Re Promote Cultural Change Starting from Schools.

Camst group continues its commitment to combating violence against women and is redefining its strategic partnership with the national association D.i.Re – Donne in Rete contro la violenza. In 2025, the action focuses on educational prevention and early cultural change through an experimental local project aimed at tackling gender stereotypes directly in schools.

2,000 children aged 4 to 7 involved in the Municipality of San Polo di Torrile. 1 experimental school project launched in collaboration with the local contacts of the D.i.Re network’s anti-violence centres. 1 training course for the teachers involved in the project.

1 The context

In Italy, gender-based violence is a social and cultural phenomenon that requires structured action not only to combat it but also for primary prevention. Teaching respect, equity and how to move beyond stereotypes from early childhood means helping to build a more aware and inclusive society.

For a company, supporting the cultural growth of new generations and raising awareness in local communities is an important area of corporate social responsibility, especially when the action stems from collaboration with organisations specialising in preventing and combating gender-based violence.

2 The initiative

In line with this approach, in 2025 Camst group strengthened its collaboration with the national association D.i.Re by implementing the School Project. This is an experimental programme developed together with the local contacts of the network’s anti-violence centres.

The activity is designed to work within the educational context, with the aim of promoting respect and helping to overcome gender stereotypes from the earliest stages of schooling. The project also includes dedicated training for teachers, designed to ensure continuity of the educational message and strengthen its integration into everyday school life.

3 The result

The initiative ended with the close of the school year in June 2026. Through this project, Camst group supports prevention-oriented social action, working with the D.i.Re network to promote cultural change based on respect, awareness and overcoming gender stereotypes.
