Let the good collaborations flow

Water is one of the most precious commodities and unfortunately also one of the resources most affected by the climate crisis. To preserve it, we have joined the Water Pact, in collaboration with Impronta Etica. Together with other companies, we have made a commitment to improve its management, promoting more sustainable and responsible use within the company and the community.

To highlight the link between the climate crisis and the water cycle, an aspect that is still poorly understood but critical to developing widespread awareness and addressing the new reality in which we find ourselves, Italy for Climate's Special Report 2023 states that we are experiencing a phase of "permanent climate abnormality"

An essential resource

For the production processes of the catering area, water is a fundamental element, but it also represents an indispensable resource for other activities and services offered in facility management, particularly to the soft area. Camst operates with full awareness of the strategic importance of the water resource and the water stress that characterizes a significant part of the Italian territory in which it is present.

The water we use is drawn entirely from the local water distribution network (aqueduct). Consumption originates from the production processes characteristic of kitchens and was estimated on the basis of a point survey of water discharges at a representative sample of production units.
