Energy resources are a vital node in the link between our economic growth, land development and environmental protection, and to manage the energy transition to a low-emission future and a more secure energy supply.

We are committed to working for environmental protection, beginning with the prevention of pollution and the reduction of possible impacts, through action that contemplates the entire life cycle. How?

- Using natural resources responsibly and optimizing consumption from energy sources.

- By better managing waste through separate collection and wastewater produced during processing.

- By choosing environmentally friendly equipment, chemicals, plants and processes.

- Promoting efficient management in all business processes.

- Prioritizing renewable sources.

- Constantly monitoring the most significant energy uses such as cooking and food storage, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning of rooms, and meal delivery and distribution.

- Carrying out energy efficiency interventions.

The results of our efforts

Our efforts have brought us to these results in 2023 compared to 2022:

- Electricity consumption was reduced by 12.1%.

- Methane consumption was reduced by 11.9%.

- Fuel consumption was reduced by 5.2%.

In order to further reduce consumption, the collaboration between the energy management office and the training office resulted in the "Let's turn on the saving...energy" project, an online training course with innovative ways for a more direct impact in the daily life of every catering employee.
