Growth and personal development opportunities

Training skills, empowering people

We are not “just” colleagues and staff; first and foremost, we are people, who express ourselves in everything we do. This applies above all and especially at work, a place where we build relationships and improve ourselves and the environment in which we operate, each with their own skills and roles. We do this by supporting each other, applying a concept of cooperation that is enabling for every one of us.

We are convinced that training and continuous learning are essential tools for fostering our people’s growth, both personal and professional.

Trade School

This is the thinking behind training programmes like the Trade School, the in-house strategic training plan that aims to upskill and empower workers in the catering sector and help them to grow their careers. The programme is open to all employees in the sector and aims both to consolidate the skills of people already with Camst and to train new hires, as a path to overcoming the shortage of suitably trained staff in the catering market. Since 2021, when the programme was launched, more than 600 colleagues have enrolled to consolidate and certify their skills on the basis of an objective, transparent scheme.

Welcome, Gender Equality Training

In 2023, Camst enabled eight staff to attend the “Gender Equality Training” coursed run by BOOM, the CRIF Knowledge and Innovation Hub specialising in education, training and innovation in technological development, business and cutting-edge topics.

Upgrade in Camst Academy

Alongside an ever-expanding and improving training offering, we have created Camst Academy, the online platform that shares the company’s knowhow and identity and updates the ways in which training is delivered. It is a physical and virtual space designed for the continual construction and sharing of knowledge (knowing how to be) and skills (knowing how to do), thus promoting information exchange between people and the creation of an aware workforce.

Educational placements

Through its network of contacts with universities and research centres, Camst group offers placements to students enrolled on courses which include a period of hands-on learning in the workplace. They may be organised by professional training institutes for regional qualifications, high schools to provide work experience, universities with internships during their courses and technical training schools which combine classroom learning with practical experience to meet the needs of businesses requiring workers with skills at the state of the art.

All training plans run within the company comply with the relevant legislation and the company’s specific needs.
