Goals
The future we choose
In the strategic plan, currently under review, we have chosen to focus our energies on three crucial areas: health, safety and well-being, local area and sustainability.
With the aim of generating shared value for all stakeholders – individuals, communities, the local area and the environment – the strategic plan drawn up in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda involves concrete undertakings with regard to environmental and social sustainability, to meet the challenges of a constantly changing context.
PEOPLE’S WELL-BEING
To promote people’s well-being through sustainability governance, we have introduced a number of measures intended above all to promote diversity in the workplace and strengthen gender equality.
• Publication of the gender equality policy, leading to award of Gender Equality Certification (2024).
• Engagement with employees to encourage cultural change and people’s involvement and empowerment.
• Training and development through the “Innovation Facilitators” scheme and new training on diversity, equality and inclusion.
• Constant monitoring of policies and initiatives for employees’ well-being to guarantee their effectiveness.
PARTNERSHIP AND INTERDEPENDENCY
The development of partnerships optimises the use of the resources available, reduces risks, encourages innovation and enables sustainable growth and development.
• Definition of policies such as implementation of the Governance Model in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 231 and the introduction of a new Antitrust compliance programme.
• Development of partnerships under agreements signed with startups, universities, vendors, customers and other enterprises to come up with structured solutions to new needs.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
We have begun a process for the evaluation of environmental impacts throughout the value chain, with the aim of drawing up a multiannual decarbonisation plan.
• Monitoring and assessment through an organisation LCA, in preparation for the new CSRD directive.
• Governance, training and development to define the governance model and create the skills for in-house monitoring of targets and the decarbonisation plan.
