Commitments to sustainable development

That of integrating sustainability into the business model remains our greatest challenge: ever greater interpenetration with the group's strategy is necessary. Business choices consistent with the SDGs are already defined in the Strategic Plan; the inclusion of common-benefit purposes in our Bylaws reinforces our aspiration in wanting to take a leading role for concrete and conscious change.

As of 2021, all business choices have been made in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Agenda 2030. The choice to become a benefit company represents an evolution in our sustainability journey, writing our commitments in clear letters in our Articles of Association. Among the 17 SDGs, Camst group has identified the primary ones in relation to its commitments, consistent with its model and business objectives. Specifically: SDG2 (Food Security, Nutrition, Sustainable Agriculture), SDG6 (Sustainable Water Management), SDG7 (Energy Systems), SDG9 (Resilient Infrastructure, Innovation), SDG12 (Sustainable Patterns of Production and Consumption) and SDG13 (Climate Change Actions) and SDG17 (Partnerships). Our commitment to the 2030 Agenda includes other SDGs, which involve organizational aspects and areas as preconditions that support the achievement of the goals set by the strategic plan: SDG4 (Education and learning opportunities), SDG5 (Gender equality), SDG8 (Economic growth and employment) and SDG10 (Reducing inequality).
